Are you a Government Contracting Officer or a Contractor?

Many government contracts require that your network or application be FISMA or DIACAP compliant.  We have a proven record with building C&A programs and assisting organizations for FISMA compliance

We have specific services that others do but we can help you meet your SDVO requirement.

Accreditation and Certification Security Services - FISMA and DIACAP Compliance

FISMA

IT Federal Services specifically focuses on IT Security and Information Assurance services. FISMA is just not that "nagging" requirement that needs to be addressed when changing your network or adding a major application.

The purpose of FISMA is all about identifying and managing system risks.

How do you manage or identify your risks?

One of the first NIST docs you'll look at is the NIST 800-37 Rev1 Guide for Applying the Risk Management Framework to Federal Information Systems. There's several more of course that you'll need to read but starting out with the process

IT Federal Services will evaluate RISK Assessments to FISMA guidelines. We'll provide you "real" feedback on how to become compliant. We evaluate using NIST SP 800-30 and corresponding risk assessment documentation.

As an SDVO we can help you meet your Veteran small business set-aside. But more importantly, we can also act as your Security Control Assessor for any needed systems or applications. We'll review the security of the system not just check boxes off for compliance. It's important that your information be secure. Truely secure.

Have you had audits were the assessor comes in gives you a cryptic report and walks away?

We'll work with your organization to ensure that the proper risks are identified and prioritized for remediation. Not everything is an emergency. How risk is evaluated can detrmine the right path for you.

If you understand not only the processes what it takes to be secure but also the right types of implemented  technology you'll be able to ensure more secure systems. That's what we do.

IT Federal Services can even help you develop your program from the ground up. We have done this for several contractors and Federal entities.

Let us help you become both compliant and secure.
